NCAA 96: Blazer Kian Ashe places last in bantamweight division for men’s speed kicking event


Blazer Kian Ashe claimed the last place for the men’s bantamweight division of speed kicking event earlier today, June 24.

De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) Blazer Kian Graydon Ashe chipped in the least points in the first Speed Kicking Event for the Bantamweight Division, earlier today, June 24, on GMA’s GTV Channel.

Benildean Ashe garnered 5.917 points, placing last in the Speed Kicking category for the Men’s Bantamweight division. Taking the gold podium finish with 6.583 points was Stanley Roy Laguio of Arellano University, the highest points recorded for the weight division. 

Following Roy was Axl Zerrudo of San Sebastian College-Recoletos with 6.442 points, while Michael Christian Macario of San Beda University bagged the third spot with 6.383 points. Carl Louie Ayaton, also from Arellano University, placed fourth with 6.342 points, while Gianne Kyle Sarmiento Legaspi from the same university claimed fifth place with 6.308 points. Just before Blazers’ Ashe is John Jezra Lorena Sasutona of Jose Rizal University with a .033 point difference.

Final standings:

Arellano University: 6.583 (Laguio) and 6.342 (Ayaton)

San Sebastian College-Recoletos: 6.442 (Zerrudo)

San Beda University: 6.383 (Macario) and 6.308 (Legaspi)

Jose Rizal University: 5.950 (Sasutona)

De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde: 5.917 (Ashe)
