The Benilde Scholars Association (BSA) culminates its Scholars’ Week with INFUSE 2025: Scholars’ Quest on June 13 at the Benilde Sports and Dormitory Complex (SDC).

According to BSA’s President, Eizel Rodriguez, this year’s INFUSE was inspired by the “Game World” theme, following the previous events included in the two-week long Scholar’s Week. She also emphasized the theme’s connection to the different levels of hardship that the scholars need to overcome.

“Every event focuses on one specific game [...] ‘yung isang event namin which is the Inclusion Workshop is [themed] Pacman. So, parang lahat ng naging event namin na-incoporate kasi this is our culminating [activity],” she explained.

The full-day event was split into two main events. The morning session’s highlight was the Career Confidence Seminar on Building Your Professional Path with Purpose and Strategy given by Mr. Jonel Joshua Rosales, Head of the Career and Placement Unit.

The talk was filled with useful and relevant information about establishing fruitful and authentic career paths for the Benildean scholars following their college life. The morning was also filled with performances from the Benildean Scholars community.

Kelly Divinagracia, a volunteer member of BSA, shared her insights about the talk, noting that Mr. Rosales, “Gave us really excellent advice regarding how to look for jobs. So, it gives us scholars a chance to look for a career in the future to help us be self-sufficient and also pay it forward to others.”

Meanwhile, the afternoon session commenced with an energizing zumba activity led by Mr. Vince Esmores, a former scholar. It was then followed by the awaited series of games with a simultaneous relay of activities, taking a leap from the conventional team sports conducted in the previous editions of the Scholars’ Week.

The scholars wrapped up the event with the announcement of winners, accompanied by prizes. Kirschen Balajadia from the winning team shared her sentiments and gratitude in an interview.

“I just went here initially for service hours, pero naka-meet din ako ng [new friends] sa mga kagrupo,” she said, adding that “It was a fun time.”
