International Hospitality Management (IHM) student Carina Agcaoili received the Vatel Scholarship, an academic grant awarded by the prestigious Vatel International School of Hospitality and Tourism Management, following a meticulous deliberation process.
The well-known grant is annually awarded by France-based Vatel International School of Hospitality and Tourism Management to incoming junior students. According to their website, Vatel is the first Worldwide Business School Group in Hospitality and Tourism Management with 31 schools, over 7,000 students, and 29,000 alumni worldwide.
Agcaoili’s excellent record both in her academics and her performance in the hotel immersion helped her secure the scholarship, which covers the full tuition and a waiver of fees for one year. The nineteen year-old explained how thankful she is regarding the announcement. “I felt immense joy and gratitude upon receiving the news that I had been granted the scholarship. From the entire batch, only two applied and I am very grateful that I was chosen to receive the scholarship,” she said.
