Benilde ranks third in top-performing schools of June 2019 architecture board exams


The College‘s passing rate increased by roughly six percent, landing third in the top-performing schools.

De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde ranked third in the top-performing schools in the June 2019 architecture licensure examination with a passing rate of 85.45 percent.

The College’s overall passing rate jumped from last year’s 79.59 percent (39 passers out of 49 examinees) to 85.45 percent (47 passers out of 55 examinees).

Furthermore, the national passing rate increased to 66.33 percent (2,104 passers out of 3,172 takers) from last year’s rate of 55.97 percent (1,778 passers out of 3,177 takers).

Moreover, University of Santo Tomas takes the top spot with a passing rate of 92.86 percent (195 passers out of 210 examinees). University of San Carlos followed second with a passing rate of 89.69 percent (87 passers out of 97 examinees). Fourth rank, Saint Louis University, has a rate of 84.56 percent (126 passers out of 149 examinees).

Meanwhile, Technological University of the Philippines-Manila garnered fifth with a passing rate of 84.31 percent (43 passers out of 51 examinees). Lastly, Polytechnic University of the Philippines placed sixth with a passing rate of 83.82 percent (57 passers out of 68 examinees).

The results were released by the Professional Regulation Commission last July 4.
