Uniting as one Lasallian family on Jan. 18, Rodomo: Lasallian City of Food, Arts and Music brings the community together with fun outdoor activities, musical performances, film screenings, and a celebration of the life and legacy of founder Saint John Baptist de La Salle at the De La Salle University Laguna (DLSUL) Campus.
From acoustic melodies to upbeat rhythms, the festival has a lineup of talented musical acts; indie OPM pop band This Band, homegrown Benilde talent Nathan & Mercury, seven-piece band Lola Amour, DLSU alumnus DJ Pao Jaramillo, actress and performer Rita Daniela, RnB singer Cholo Bismonte, World Championships of Performing Arts (WCPA) medalist Jadriel TJ Lopez, ‘Idol PH’ hopeful Matty Juniosa, emerging singer-songwriter Miko Manguba, homegrown Lasallian talent Leonard Mingoy, Benilde’s resident choral company Coro San Benildo, and vocal performers De La Salle Inner Soul that will surely liven up the crowd.
Other Lasallian premiere chorale groups such as De La Salle University (DLSU) Chorale, De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (DLS-D) Chorale, De La Salle Zobel (DLSZ) Chorale, De La Salle Zobel Orchestra, De La Salle Araneta University Serenata, and La Salle University (LSU) Ozamiz Acapella, Lasallian Youth Orchestra (LYO), and The Kundirana Music Ministry of La Salle Green Hills‘ harmonious voices will also be heard.
Don’t miss out the captivating performances prepared by Lasallian homegrown talents such as Benilde’s resident dance company Saint Benilde Romançon Dance Company (SBRDC), La Salle Araneta (LSA) Street Force, La Salle Greenhills (LSGH) Airforce, DLSZ Dance Crew, De La Salle Lipa (DLSL) Green Jam, LSU Ozamiz Folk; and Benilde’s resident theater company Dulaang Filipino’s staging of “Oedipus” as well as the La Salle Dance Company‘s “The Fervid Brother” dance drama.

Dive into the Rubber & Ball Pit, prepare to aim and fire at the Giant Archers booth, be unstoppable at the Fun Sumo Suit Wrestling Challenge, be up for the challenge at Rodomo’s Obstacle Course, show your creativity at the Arts & Crafts booth, get ready for a friendly combat at the Joust Inflatable Arena, and reach the top at the Giant Rock Climb Challenge.
Screenings from documentaries to animated films such as De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde’s (DLS-CSB) “ALON: A Documentary on Plastic Waste” directed by Gabby Fernandez, the animated life of Saint Benilde Romançon with “The Little One” directed by Benildean faculty member Tito Romero, and ToonBro Animation Studios’ production of “Frère” that centers on the life of Saint John Baptist De La Salle are to be shown as well.
