The College’s School of Management and Information Technology (SMIT) Student Government, in collaboration with various SMIT organizations, will be virtually launching SMITensity 2021: Coalesce via Zoom and Facebook Live from March 22 to 26, 2021.
With its theme, “Coalesce: Creating connections through a spectrum of opportunities,” their annual week-long school week will feature four interactive events that will unite and celebrate SMIT students and open opportunities and connections with their courses: MOBA Gaming Tournament, Virtual Business Exposition, A Talk on Building Self-Esteem and Tactful Communication, and I-Design Online Workshop.
Here’s what you need to know about the four events.
MOBA Gaming Tournament
Join and witness the might and expertise of the SMIT student-gamers battling it out in the most anticipated gaming tournament. A total prize pool of over 4,000 diamonds awaits those who prove who to be the best throughout the stages of the battlefield. Join in via livestream on their official Facebook page on March 23 to 25, 2021.
From the eight teams who will battle their efforts in achieving greatness and sportsmanship, the top three prevailing teams that have the sharpest skills will win 336 diamonds per member, 223 diamonds per member, and 112 diamonds per member, respectively.
Virtual Business Exposition
Curious about what SMIT students can have for their respective careers? Witness aspiring and current Benildean SMIT business owners, entrepreneurs, and online sellers promote their online business and share tips to inspire and motivate those interested to start their own business opportunities through the Virtual Business Exposition website that will be open all throughout the week.

I-Design Online Workshop
Personal branding, effective online business website creation, and creative expression in the field of business—these are just some of what is in store for the three-day long CSBLIFE-accredited workshop via Zoom that will commence on March 23 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Participants will be guided throughout the creative process by a mentor. The top three visions, minds, website design, and concept that will stand out and reign as the best will win P1,500, P1,000, and P500 cash prizes respectively. Those interested to be a part of the workshop may register here.
A Talk on Building Self-esteem and Tactful Communication
Within the week, a building self-esteem webinar will be conducted to aid audiences with tips and techniques on placing their best self forward to be more empowered in communicating proficiently with others, may it be in a virtual or physical setting.
