NCAA 96: Lady Blazers secure silver and bronze in speed kicking’s featherweight category


Blazers’ Mosquera and Jariol claim two of the top spots in the featherweight division of women’s speed kicking event.

De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) Lady Blazers Daezelle Eloisa Jariol and Tanya Mosquera bagged second and third positions respectively, in the Women’s Featherweight Division of the Speed Kicking event yesterday, July 3, on GMA’s GTV. 

 

Claiming the top spot is San Sebastian College-Recoletos’ Liza Leslie Bagay with a final score of 6.225. Lady Blazers Eloisa Jariol and Tanya Mosquera notched second and third place with 6.117 and 5.958 points, respectively.

 

Meanwhile, San Beda University’s Melody Dulay and Gwindalynne Gutierrez settled at fourth and fifth after scoring 5.708 and 5.700 points, respectively. Lyceum of the Philippines University’s Daniela Rosales finished at sixth with 5.525 while Emilio Aguinaldo College’s Ninfa Miziel Rosales placed last with 5.050 points.

 

The Lady Blazers will compete in the remaining speed kicking events today, July 4, as well as on Monday, July 5, via GTV.  

 

Final Standings:

San Sebastian College-Recoletos: 6.225 (Bagay)

De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde: 6.117 (Jariol) and 5.958 (Mosquera)

San Beda University: 5.708 (Dulay) and 5.700 (Gutierrez)

Lyceum of the Philippines University: 5.525 (Rosales)

Emilio Aguinaldo College: 5.050 (Rosales)
