NCAA 96: Natividad and Samson achieve podium finishes in women’s speed kicking welterweight division


Lady Blazers Loralee Natividad and Shiela Mae Samson took home gold and bronze respectively in the welterweight category of women’s speed kicking event earlier today, July 4.

De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde’s (DLS-CSB) Lady Blazers Loralee Natividad and Shiela Mae Samson secured gold and bronze podium finishes respectively in women’s speed kicking welterweight division earlier today, July 4, on GMA’s GTV network.

Right from the get-go, Loralee Natividad dominated the division after scoring 7.067, making her the third athlete to reach above 7.000 points in the speed kicking category of the entire season. Followed by a score of 6.400, Colegio de San Juan de Letran’s Aliciarose Gonzales brought home silver; while Blazer Shiela Mae Samson secured bronze with 6.317 points.

San Beda University’s (SBU) Rizza Rose Collado captured fourth place after scoring 6.275. Armaelyn Agudulo of Arellano University (AU) Lady Chiefs placed fifth with 6.108, while fellow  Lady Chief Angelica Uyan placed last with 5.650. Meanwhile, Mapua University’s (MU) Ella Mae Ronquillo bagged sixth place with 5.717.
