Spearheaded by Headway Productions, a Benildean student-initiated agency, “Resonance: Multimedia Arts Capstone Showcase” recognized outstanding ID 118 Multimedia Arts (MMA) students’ capstone projects in its first-ever online capstone exhibit last July 29 via Facebook Live.

To formally open the recognition night, incoming Vice Chancellor of Academics Mr. Angelo Marco Lacson congratulated and recognized the efforts of ID 118 MMA students as they completed their capstone requirements.

“Your resilience, adaptability, and your creativity does not cease to amaze us,” he said, citing the hard work and efforts the students put into their projects despite the online modality.

“You are not alone in this innovation and inclusion journey, there are always others like you wanting a better change. [...] Learning from others is just as valuable as what you experienced in preparing your own projects,” Mr. Lacson ended.

Moreover, Benilde President Br. Edmundo “Dodo” Fernandez, FSC left a special message as they manifest inclusivity and innovations in their capstone projects.

“Your milestones today are more than just academic achievements, but proof of your perseverance and grit as you have pushed through despite the challenges of the pandemic,” Br. Dodo emphasized.

He stressed that each milestone is a step forward into reaching a goal saying, “Our goal in Benilde is to build a just and humane society through inclusion and innovation. [...] I hope that these capstone projects were venues or media for you, dear students, to see your role as builders of our developing society.”
