DrawINK, Benilde's comic book illustration and enthusiast organization, together with the Benilde Arts Management (BeAM), the official student organization of the Arts Management program, invite you to “Manix Mania,” a talk by comic artist Manix Abrera. The webinar is open to the public on Oct. 22, Friday, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. via Zoom.

About the speaker

Manix Abrera is a Filipino comic artist and a Fine Arts graduate from the University of the Philippines-Diliman (UP-D). He is best known for creating the comic strip series “Kikomachine,” featured in the Philippine Daily Inquirer from Monday to Saturday.

He has won the National Book Awards for his wordless comic “14,” the comics compilation “News Hardcore!” which can be viewed at the GMA News website, and “Kikomachine Komix 14: Alaala ng Kinabukasan,” the 14th installment of his beloved komiks series.
