Jerry Yee, the current head coach of the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) Lady Blazers, will resume calling the shots for the Taft squad in the next NCAA season despite agreeing to a contract with the Adamson Lady Falcons on Friday, July 1.

After the unexpected news of his contract to coach the Adamson Lady Falcons in the next UAAP season, multi-titled coach Yee will remain with the Lady Blazers for NCAA Season 98. The news was confirmed by Benilde’s Center for Sports Development (CSD) Head Mr. Stephen Fernandez

He is expected to bring his experience to Adamson following their devastating loss to Ateneo in UAAP Season 84, which prevented them from reaching the Final Four. Yee will take over for Lerma Giron, who coached the Lady Falcons squad for two seasons.

Currently, Yee has been leading the Lady Blazers on their six-game winning streak in the NCAA Season 97 women’s volleyball tournament, determined to continue where they left off before the pandemic and bring back the volleyball crown to Taft.

The Lady Blazers’ mentor is also the current head coach of the Petro Gazz Angels who finished second in the recently concluded 2022 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Open Conference.
