The 28th SDEAS Deaf Festival opens different face-to-face and online booths with an art exhibit showcasing paintings at Greenway Square, Taft Campus until Nov. 21. With different food stalls and exhibits, there’s much to explore to celebrate the festival!
After the ribbon-cutting ceremony on Nov. 15, the School of Deaf Education and Applied Studies (SDEAS) festival welcomes friends to their warm embrace as they set up different booths at the Greenway Square at Taft Campus.
There are a few food stalls that include various options, including tusok-tusok, rice meals, shakes, and fruit juices. Buying food from these stalls is a steal as you’re given big amounts of food perfect for the price you’ve paid—not even mentioning how satisfying the taste is as well. Some stalls sell items like tumbler bags too.
Generally, vendors and organizers were quite friendly, constantly trying to help around. Upon reaching the exhibit of different art pieces, including paintings of different mediums, organizers might ask for a little letter of appreciation for the different artists. Different words of encouragement and appreciation are placed next to the different art pieces.
The SDEAS festival bazaar and exhibit is a must-visit for anyone interested in good-filling meals, sweet treats, art inspiration, and a couple neat items to remember the event.
Don’t miss out and visit the different booths, which are available until Nov. 21, or go through SDEAS Deaf Festival’s Facebook page and browse the different online booths participating.
