BPC bags 5 awards in 3rd Assumption University Outstanding Campus Press Awards


The Benildean Press Corps bagged 8th place as the Outstanding Campus Publication from a total of 30 participating schools in Luzon.

The Benildean Press Corps (BPC), the College’s official student-journalists’ organization, garnered a total of five awards, including the 8th Most Outstanding Campus Publication out of 30 participating Luzon-based schools in the 3rd University of the Assumption Outstanding Campus Press Awards (AOCPA) on Nov. 28.

 

University of the Assumption (UA)’s resident student publication organization, Regina, stepped out of the confines of the digital world as it held its first face-to-face awarding ceremony at the Monsigñor Serrano Auditorium of UA.

 

Among 11 categories, BPC won the following awards from five categories:

 

OVERALL: 8th Outstanding Campus Publication 

 

GROUP: 4th Outstanding Campus Newspaper 

 

INDIVIDUAL AWARDS:

BPC also won multiple awards in the 2nd AOCPA, including Most Outstanding Campus Paper, 1st Place  for The Benildean, among others.

 

The AOCPA is an annual campus press awarding ceremony held by Regina to recognize various student-journalists for their exceptional journalistic skills and commitment to the craft. Since 2020, the organization has awarded 110 dedicated student-journalists from over 35 different schools across Luzon.
