The Center for Student Life (CSL) commenced the 30th Gawad Benildyano with the theme “Service Beyond Boundaries” at the Design and Arts Campus (DAC) Theater today, Jan. 27. After two years of being held online, the event returned to face-to-face capacity with the same honor and splendor to recognize outstanding Benildeans for their service and contributions to the community.

Br. Edmundo Fernandez FSC opened the ceremony with a video message, recognizing and congratulating all the nominees and awardees. “More than the projects and programs that were done, I would like to commend everyone for empowering your peers and supporting movements that have made a difference in the lives of people.”

Being the first face-to-face celebration of Gawad Benildyano since the pandemic, the event was also live-streamed on CSL’s Facebook page and showcased virtual performances from the Benilde Culture and Arts Unit (BCAU).
