Calling all creatives! Benilde in Art in the Park calls for Benildean artwork submissions

Benilde in Art in the Park is back and they’re waiting for artists like you to make your move!

The annual art fair Art in the Park brings together a myriad of galleries, independent art venues, collectives, and art schools including De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) in “Benilde in Art in the Park.” Here’s how your work can get featured!

Hosted by Philippine Art Events, Inc, different art organizations are given platforms to showcase their collective’s artistry at Art in the Park. The art fair will happen on March 19 at Jaime Velasquez Park in Makati City.

Like most events, Art in the Park was halted by the pandemic for two years. Finally able to bring back its face-to-face tradition, the Benilde Arts Management (BeAM) Program provides the showcasing of Benildean artists and creativity once more.

Benildean artists, including students, alumni, associates, and faculty, are also invited to submit their artworks by visiting Benilde in Art in the Park’s receiving booth at the Design and Art Campus (DAC) cafeteria from March 15 to 16 (5:00 p.m.) Interested artists need to register through this link before submitting the artwork.

Here is the list of artworks accepted by BeAM:

  • Paintings
  • Sculptures
  • Drawings
  • Prints
  • Photography
  • Mixed Media
  • Pottery
  • Furniture
  • Others (zines, posters, and stickers packaged as a set)

Do note, artists, that submissions need to be protected with bubble wrap or any other sort of protective wrapping upon submission.

Art in the Park will continue to promote and raise the public’s awareness of the National Museum and their projects, as led by the Museum Foundation of the Philippines. A portion of the proceeds from the event will go directly to the foundation itself.

Don’t miss out! Submit your artwork and support Benildean artists and the National Museum by visiting Benilde in Art in the Park.
