The De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) Lady Blazers cracked on the verge of a third-set comeback against the Adamson University (ADU) Lady Falcons, 0-3, at the V-League 2025 Collegiate Challenge Conference on Aug. 19 at the Paco Arena in Manila City.

A see-saw battle commenced as both squads fought tooth and nail to protect their flawless records, 16-16. However, UAAP Season 87 Rookie of the Year Shaina Nitura, together with MG Del Moral and Abby Segui, staged a 4-1 run to reach the endzone with Segui delivering the kill to clinch the set, 22-25. The ladies donning blue and white rode the wave of their momentum into the second frame to steamroll past the Taft squad, 13-25.

The defending four-peat NCAA champs quickly turned the tables by staging an unbelievable comeback spearheaded by Zamantha Nolasco, 10-3. The Lady Falcons struck back with a 10-3 run of their own to stay to even the score at 13-13. Kim Rocha shifted into high gear and allowed the Lady Falcons to pull away and close out the victory, 20-25. 

The Lady Blazers look to bounce back against the Far Eastern University (FEU) Lady Tamaraws on Aug. 24 at the same venue with a live telecast on V-League’s official website, Facebook, and YouTube pages.
