AIESEC in CSB’s upcoming project aims to prepare youth for the professional world


Gear up as AIESEC in CSB calls on the youth to become world-ready professionals and citizens with their upcoming project “Youth Got This.”

AIESEC in De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde invites all college students and fresh graduates to join “Youth Got This,” a local innovation project intended to promote youth empowerment in the corporate setting. The two-day event will be held on July 30 to 31 via Zoom and Facebook Live.

With the aim to guide these young aspiring professionals to career success and fulfillment, “Youth Got This” plans to equip participants with the right tools and skills that will prove useful to them in the future. Furthermore, AIESEC in CSB intends to address relevant societal issues throughout the event, and how the youth can determine their future with the choices they make and abilities they have. 

 

The project will be featuring a number of successful professionals and individuals who excel in their respective fields. Here are the following topics to be discussed with their respective speaker:

 

Day 1: 

  • “Thriving in the ‘New Normal’: How to thrive in your career despite the pandemic - Struggles and Stereotypes” - Doctor Dae Lee, PhD. (Behavioral Scientist and Co-Founder of “Fourth Wall”)

  • “Do You Have What It Takes? What Employer and Candidates Should Prepare For” - Liza Manalo-Mapagu (CEO of ASEAMETRICS)

 

Day 2:

  • “Personal testimony and journey of a working individual from graduating college and work-life balance” - Bianca Felipe (Former Art director for a digital marketing start up and freelance multimedia content producer)

  • “Realizing your Why” - Antonio Aguirre Jr. (Benildean graduate, Entrepreneur & Life, Personality and Branding Development Coach, and CEO of Sole Slam Industries Inc., Hostrident Web and Domain Hosting Inc., A. Aguirre Advertising Media Company & Aguirre Holdings Inc.)
