Amidst the ongoing challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Lasallian Youth Orchestra (LYO), the official orchestra of De La Salle University, presents “Forte 2021: A Cloud Nine Musical Experience”一showcasing soloist, group recitalist, and group orchestral pieces for their music be heard all around the world from Sept. 10 to 11.
The recital-concert’s theme for this year is “Postcards, Travels, and Flight.” Each segment symbolizes the audience’s musical journey with the soloist driving through the moment, the group recitalist packing stories in their instruments, and the grand orchestral pieces that perfectly bring them all together in one harmony.
LYO will be helping OFWs through the Blas Ople Policy Center and Training Institute, a non-profit organization that advocates for migrant workers’ rights. The Lasallian orchestra will give 10% of the proceeds to the said organization.
The sky’s the limit
With the feel of going to different places all over the world, the concert features great musical pieces from Johann Sebastian Bach, Frédéric Chopin, Edward Mollenhauer, Joe Hisaishi, Gary Valenciano, Miki Matsubara, Marco de Mesa, and more exciting medleys to watch out for—letting audiences experience the borderless cloud nine musical experience.

Tickets are priced at Php 150. For anyone who has an Arts Pass (available for DLSU Students only) you may register for free.
